The King’s Cross Fitness Trail
Martin Whitelock of MW5 fitness has created a free fitness trail which repurposes King’s Cross as a handy open air gym.
With inspiring architecture as a backdrop and car-free places to run, the space is an ideal spot for exercising, and Martin’s easy to follow, 8-part routine will get your heart pumping and your body toned, no equipment required.


Frame Fitness Studio
The cult fitness outfit FRAME has three studios at the King’s Cross branch – fitness (complete with punch bags and kettlebells), the yoga and barre area, and a Pilates studio, with ten state-of-the-art reformer machines.
Choose from the jam-packed schedule of classes to suit every mood -there are trainer-lead weightlifting sessions, cardio routines to get your heart pumping, and a range of yoga and Pilates classes. On-site, there are high-spec shower rooms and changing facilities, equipped with hairdryers, straighteners, shampoo and conditioner.

Polestar Pilates Studio
There are two state-of-the-art studios decked out with a range of equipment – including reformer machines – to get you moving, stretching, and engaging that core.

MW5 Bootcamp
This bootcamp is a high-intensity interval training session, designed to provide a high-calorie burn using a variety of different equipment. You’ll be encouraged to test your body and push your limits, but always within your ability levels.
The session is led by Martin Whitelock. His tough but sensible training approach is not your typical military-style BootCamp. To enrol, or to find out more visit the MW5 Fitness website.

The Fore

Handyside Indoor Sports Facility
This indoor sports hall has the appropriate pitch markings and equipment for netball, football, basketball, and badminton, and is bookable by all King’s Cross Residents. No registration required, simply book your slot here.
There are also drop in basketball sessions for office tenants on Monday and Wednesday evenings and drop in basketball for office tenants from 6-8pm on Fridays and for residents from 3-4pm on Sundays.
