Club Curling

READY, SET, CURL…let the games commence!

Launching on 10th November, King’s Cross is bringing it back to the ‘90s as Club Curling returns for Christmas with a weekly programme of live DJ sets and a pop-up cocktail bar.

Avid curlers will be able to enjoy the six colourful, sustainable curling lanes for just £8 a person (children under 12 play for free when accompanied by an adult), making it the perfect activity all the family can enjoy this festive season. Book your tickets here.

All the details

London’s hottest festive fixture is taking a trip back to this year’s hottest decade – the ‘90s! In its usual Coal Drops Yard location, teams of up to six people per lane can play at Club Curling from 12pm to 8pm every day, with sessions lasting 45 minutes.

Players are encouraged to pre-book online to avoid disappointment. Some lanes may be available on a ‘turn up and play’ basis. Club Curling will run from Friday 10 November 2023 until Sunday 25 February 2024.

Make an evening of it

To get well and truly into the festive spirit, visitors can dance the night away to the exciting sounds of a six-week line-up of DJs curated by Voices Radio, each rocking ‘90s bangers that have been inspired by the cultural musical icons that played at Bagley’s and The Cross nightclubs. Plus, enjoy a delicious frosty cocktail or two at the new Club Curling bar.

This year, King’s Cross is launching Thursday Lates – its first ever late-night shopping series. Running from 9 November to 14 December, shoppers can enjoy calm and traffic free shopping in the heart of the city every Thursday evening for six weeks until 9pm.

And there’s more

2023 will see a 50-foot traditional Christmas tree in Coal Drops Yard, which this year will be wrapped with 15,000 low-power lights – three times as many as the previous year. Liliane Lijn’s ‘Temenos’ installation will return in November to Lewis Cubitt Square. The immersive, 11-metre high geometric winter sculpture comprises 19 neon poles which gradually change colour from a beautiful golden yellow to a cool winter blue.

A brand new fun and festive art installation on Granary Square is set to be unveiled in the run up to Christmas. Keep an eye out for further details!

As with last year, a donation from each ticket sale will go to charity: in 2022, King’s Cross raised a whopping £14,500 for local homelessness charity, New Horizon Youth Centre and national charity, Shelter.
